This is the replay version of Smarty, also a schoolhouse themed pinball machine, released in 1968.

One of the words to spell is CLEW. It’s not a misspelling of CLUE, this CLEW is an archaic English term for a ball of yarn.

The game design may be a reissue of a 1950s game with a similar name that was only produced in prototype, although that’s unconfirmed.
