The movie Tommy was the inspiration for the theme of this game with the likenesses of Roger Daltry and Ann-Margaret on the backglass. It was the first pinball machine to use use flip-flags.

People often think that’s Elton John on the backglass. He’s featured on Capt. Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy pinball machine (1975). Jersey Jack Pinball released an Elton John game in 2023.
